Randy Samsel is founder and President of eSearch Talent Solutions, which has provided executive search, talent management consulting, and corporate and individual career coaching services since 1998. Additionally, Randy is also a partner with Patina Executive Search, a division of Patina Solutions and an advisory board member with The Fahey Group, a private holding company. He is a certified Human Capital Strategist and earned a certificate in Talent Optimization.
Randy started his career in accounting with Parker Hannifin, then earned an MBA from the Wharton School. After working in finance for Advanced Micro Devices in Silicon Valley and Frito Lay in Texas, he returned to Cleveland to start his career in recruiting with an international firm, working his way to the top local role. Then he joined the largest recruiting firm in the world, Management Recruiters International as Eastern US Director of company operations.
In his career, Randy has conducted over 10,000 career coaching conversations, helped thousands of people land great roles and advised a wide range of organizations on talent management. Randy believes better livelihoods mean better lives.
Randy consistently publishes blog posts on career and talent management topics and has presented his Talent Strategy and Career Management concepts to professional associations including The Financial Executives International, The Institute of Internal Auditors, The Institute of Management Accountants, Entrepreneur's Edge, and SCORE. He was recently a featured speaker on the HR Cruise, is currently Treasurer for the Ohio SHRM state council and is past president of Cleveland SHRM.
